Farming Partnerships
Farmers are a key component of the global economy and farming is our primary source of revenue at Playa Lake Farm & Ranch. We work with small and corporate farmers through partnerships for growing and producing crops on our irrigated and dry cropland.
We are willing to make investments in the development of irrigation systems using highly efficient drip irrigated methodology focusing on balancing production and water conservation on our lands. We have relationships with growers and producers in the farming of our lands through our Farming Partnership Programs where we provide the land and some resource management guidance in exchange for a long term partnership in production and sustainability.
We are always interested in meeting growers and producers who share our same values and philosophy in aligning our interests for long term mutual success producing sustainable crops and passing on our methods and practices for the next generation.
Farm Lease Agreements
We offer high quality irrigated and dry cropland to tenant farmers who share our values of sustainable agriculture production balanced with wildlife conservation through lease agreements.
These arrangements can have either a shared crop approach, a cash lease, or a hybrid between the two. We are always interested in talking with growers and producers and understanding their operations to come up with structures and options that make sense for both sides.
Custom Farming
We are always seeking vendors to provide reliable costs effective custom farming for our fields and projects. If you have equipment sitting idle or have some extra capacity in a given year we would like to talk to you about our farming programs and upcoming plans and our possible needs for your services.
We hire custom farmers for shredding, plowing, planting, grass planting, and harvesting cotton or grain. Sometimes we are just needing some dozer work, clean up, fence building, or special projects and would encourage anyone looking for extra work to reach out and see how we can work together.
